The site force I studied were the strong winds that follow an unbroken path, across the open land, terraces, slopes, and coastal edges. In contrast, within tree-covered areas and settlements, the wind softens and is felt only through rustling leaves, fluttering clothes on drying racks, or small streams of water from roof drains.

The shelter collects these scattered experiences together, allowing one to see, hear and feel the presence of wind within itself. Shaping a flow, at times softening the passage and at times letting it rush through.
